Welcome! I’m a retired labor and delivery nurse who has fought the yo-yo dieting battle most of my life. Then I discovered the HCG Diet.  I was so excited to think there might be a “Weight Loss Cure.”  I had found Kevin Trudeau’s book prominently displayed in Barnes and Noble.  I devoured it overnight.

I started researching all I could find on the Internet back in 2007.  I read “Pounds and Inches,” by Dr. A.T. Simeons and I finally got up the courage to order and mix up hCG and give myself my first shot. I lost 45 pounds on my first round.  I was living in Oklahoma and I started noticing all the overweight people in Walmart one day. Then I just knew I had to share this with anyone I could. I still had more weight to lose, but I was really excited. I started my Free HCG Diet Newsletter in 2008, that I still publish today.

As a nurse, I knew there were many who had gastric by-pass surgery or lap-band surgery and it’s not an easy way to lose weight. There can be complications post-op and later on, nutritional problems.

I know that doing a diet is not easy, but the side effects sure beat having surgery. And the side effects to the HCG Diet are very few.  For some reason people either love this diet for how good they feel and how well they lose weight or they love to criticize it. It’s another reason I decided to start my newsletter. I knew it worked!

I found that many people were very interested in doing the diet, but they had lots of questions.  My heart went out to them for several reasons. I had many questions before I started and I called clinics around the country to find answers. I learned a lot by my own trial and error. I was lucky enough to find out that some of my mistakes turned out to be blessings in disguise. One big one was learning that it was OK to mix raw vegetables in a salad. When I was told in no uncertain terms on a forum, that you are NOT to mix vegetables, I was already losing so well, that I never stopped.  Now I believe it was a key to my success!  You can vary salads to help with diet boredom, the fiber helps you lose better and even helps stimulate good leptin levels so it helps with hunger. But more about salads another time.

This post is just to let you know, the HCG Diet works well. If you need some support and encouragement, you have come to the right place. Whether you want to use hCG drops, homeopathic hCG pellets, creams, nasal sprays, oral sprays, or shots, you can do it. Now I am expanding my writing to include this blog.  I hope you find many answers and lots of help for your dieting journey.
